WaitToSave is designed to answer one question: is the current buying opportunity good enough to call BUY, or does WAIT make more sense?

What BUY means
BUY means the current price evidence meets WaitToSave’s standard for a worthwhile buying opportunity. It does not mean the price can never fall again or that today is guaranteed to be the absolute lowest future price.
WAIT
What WAIT means
WAIT means the current buying opportunity does not meet the BUY standard yet, or the available history is not strong enough to justify a confident BUY call. WAIT is not a promise that the price will drop tomorrow.
We do not pretend to predict the future
Retail prices can move unexpectedly. WaitToSave evaluates the evidence available at the time of the check. The question is not “Can we guarantee a lower price later?” The question is “Does today’s price deserve a BUY based on what we can reliably see now?”
AI does not choose BUY or WAIT
The shopper-facing verdict is produced by consistent, versioned decision rules. AI may help make an explanation easier to read in future product experiences, but it does not get to improvise or override the BUY or WAIT decision.
When the evidence is weak, WaitToSave stays conservative
WaitToSave is intentionally more cautious about saying BUY than WAIT. If reliable historical coverage is too limited to support BUY, the safer answer is WAIT rather than pretending the evidence is stronger than it is.
What goes into the decision
Depending on the supported product and the evidence available, WaitToSave can evaluate historical pricing, the current price, recent lows and typical pricing, price volatility, and supported current offer or promotional information. The app keeps those details behind the curtain so the main result stays simple.
Price and offer information can change quickly. WaitToSave may rely on third-party product and pricing data, and the result should be read together with the “price checked” or freshness information shown in the product experience.
The verdict is separate from the Buy button
BUY or WAIT is based on the shopping evidence and WaitToSave’s decision rules—not on whether you click through and complete a purchase. WaitToSave is an independent shopping utility and is not Amazon.
